The term "Flight Superintendent" applies to Sector Managers, Senior Flight Superintendents, Flight Superintendents, and Assistant Flight Superintendents. Sector Manager The term "Sector Manager" shall mean a Flight Superintendent who holds a currently effective aircraft dispatcher's certificate and who is designated by the Company to coordinate, lead and direct functions of the Company’s flight operations including day-to-day ATC operational functions.
Senior Flight Superintendent The term "Senior Flight Superintendent" shall mean a Flight Superintendent who holds a currently effective aircraft dispatcher's certificate and who is designated by the Company to supervise the day-to-day activities of Flight Control.
Flight Superintendent The term "Flight Superintendent" shall mean an employee who holds a currently effective aircraft dispatcher's certificate and who is regularly assigned as a representative of the Company to dispatch, clear and control flights operated by Delta Air Lines and subsidiary organizations, and who is properly qualified to serve in such capacity and has been so designated by the Company.
Assistant Flight Superintendent The term "Assistant Flight Superintendent", as used herein, means an employee who has been designated as such by the Company, who assists a Flight Superintendent in the performance of any combination of the routine duties associated with the dispatch function.
